Want to get a bit sporty but don't want to bend your feet into an agressivly downturned bouldering shoe? Looking to stand on the smallest edges, whether they be plastic or rock? The Five Ten Anaszi are one of the world's top selling shoes for good reason. Named after the Anasazi Indians who were famous for living on the sides of cliffs, these are Considered one of the best shoes for technical outdoor climbing and are also one of the best all rounders currently on the market. The flat shape of the sole means more comfort and better smearing on side edges and slabs and the tight heel and toe shape allow for technical foot placements and increased sensitivity.
The Five Ten Anasazi VCS, our most popular all-around shoe comes in two VCS styles differentiated by the rubber compound used on each. Anasazi VCS in Golden Tan is equipped with a Stealth® Onyxx™ outsole, which is harder and more supportive than the Petroglyph Blue version (which is soled with Stealth® C4™). As the more specialized Anasazi VCS, the Golden Tan is ideal for edging and outdoor climbing. The lined synthetic upper will not stretch out with use and its two Velcro closures allow for a quickly and easily adjusted fit.
The Anasazi is good for having high heel tension and a stiff sole increases rigidity and support for long climbs while the asymmetric toe-box make this shoe fit comfortably all day. Stealth® Onyxx™ outsoles give the Golden Tan Anasazi VCS incredible stiffness and support for long routes and difficult climbing and perform best during slab climbing and sections of technical footwork.
