Double lanyard with two adjustable arms for aid climbing

The DUAL EVOLV ADJUST double lanyard has two adjustable arms, allowing the user to adjust the length of each arm individually for aid climbing. The two ADJUST rope adjusters are ergonomic and allow simple and quick one-handed length selection of each adjustable arm.

Description

  • Double positioning lanyard with two adjustable arms designed for aid climbing:
    - Both arms can adjust from 15 to 150 cm
    - Dynamic 9.0 mm rope lanyard helps reduce the force transmitted to the user in the event of a short fall (1)
  • Easy to use:
    - Smoothly and precisely select length of adjustable arms with the ergonomic ADJUST rope adjuster
    - TANGA rubber ring keeps the carabiner properly oriented within the ADJUST, making it easy to clip and unclip
    - Use with two Sm’D TWIST-LOCK-type locking carabiners (not included)
    - ADJUST features a hole for attaching a cord to more easily unblock the lanyard rope when it is weighted
    - Installs on the belay loop with a simple girth hitch

Can I use any locking carabiner with my Petzl Connect adjust?
No, some locking carabiners are shaped in such a way that the locking mechanism in the connect adjust doesn't sit well in the bottom the carabiner. Ovals and HMS carabiners normally work well. Petzl recommends the Sm'D twistlock.

Can I use the connect adjust to anchor myself when I thread the chains to get ready to lower off a sports climb?
The short answer is yes, but! Always remember to make sure you are connected to two different points. We recommend using the Dual Connect Adjust for this purpose.
